About Melasma Experts
Melasma Experts is an educational guide to melasma and its treatment, published for Neoderma in Anaheim, California. Every clinical fact and price on it is restated from Neoderma's own published pages, listed below, and every treatment it describes is performed by Neoderma's licensed medical providers. It is general information, not medical advice.
Who publishes Melasma Experts?
Melasma Experts is published by Neoderma Inc., the legal name of Neoderma (Neoderma Advanced Skin Care), the Anaheim clinic founded in 2001. It is that clinic's own guide, not an independent review site: Neoderma is the only provider it describes, and every Book and Call button on it leads there.
“Melasma Experts” names the guide's subject. It is not a title or a credential claimed for anyone who works at Neoderma.
Where does the information on this site come from?
From Neoderma's own website, and nowhere else. Every clinical fact, price, time frame and policy here comes from one of the 14 Neoderma pages below. Each one is restated in our own words, and nothing is added to what the source says.
Only pages Neoderma has published count. Drafts, unpublished posts, emails and offers that have ended are left out.

Who is Dr. Sal Nadkarni?
Dr. Sal Nadkarni, DO, is a cosmetic physician, Neoderma's founder and its medical director.
He came to aesthetic medicine through Allergan, the maker of Botox, where he led Botox clinical trials worldwide as Global Medical Director, and he later became a Global Master Injector. In his telling, Neoderma is where that road led: medical-grade skin care that genuinely works, within reach of everyone.
Neoderma's treatment pages and articles name him as their medical reviewer, among them the melasma laser article and the PicoWay Resolve page this site draws on most. When a page here credits its facts to those pages, the medical review it mentions is theirs; this guide's own wording is not presented as signed off by him.
Who performs treatment?
A licensed medical provider at Neoderma's clinic in Anaheim. Neoderma describes itself as a physician-led medical spa whose team works under Dr. Nadkarni, and its rule is that only a licensed medical provider carries out treatment.
With melasma, that matters more than usual. Neoderma warns that the wrong laser, or the wrong settings, can push pigment deeper or leave new dark patches behind, especially on deeper skin tones. So each session is medically supervised, the settings are matched to your skin type, and pigment-prone skin is prepped first. Our page on laser treatment for melasma goes through it in detail.
Neoderma also publishes the principles it holds its team to. Each plan begins with a skin analysis, session counts are stated honestly, and nobody is sold a treatment they don't need. Its staff try every new treatment and product on themselves for at least six months before offering it to patients.
Patients come from across Orange County. The page on melasma treatment in Orange County has the address, the hours and what happens at a first visit.
What this site won't tell you
A guide written for a clinic deserves to be read with that in mind, so here are the lines this one holds to. If you find a page that crosses one, tell us.
- No promised results. No percentages, and no promise of how many sessions you will need. Results are described as fading, and melasma as managed, not cured.
- The consultation as Neoderma prices it. The consultation is $50, credited toward treatment if you proceed within two weeks of the consultation. It is never described as free.
- Current prices only. Prices appear as Neoderma lists them now, as a full range rather than a teaser figure, and never from an offer that has ended. Your own price comes as a transparent estimate before any treatment.
- Your health questions, answered in person. Anything that turns on your own medical history belongs with a provider who has reviewed it, not with a website. Here are the questions we answer in person.
- Every result names its treatment. Photos and video carry the treatment Neoderma names for them, along with “individual results vary”. The video shows PicoWay Resolve; the photo pair on the home page shows a customized medical-grade treatment-and-home-care plan, and is never presented as a PicoWay result.
- The more careful wording. Where two Neoderma pages put the same point differently, this site uses the more cautious version.
- Reviews word for word. A patient's review is quoted exactly as written, with no star ratings added.
How do I report an error?
Email info@neodermacenter.com with the page and the sentence you mean. A price that doesn't match Neoderma's, a broken link, or a line that claims more than its source are all worth reporting.
